Microsoft Applied Skills:Model-driven Power Apps & Dataverse
Create Dataverse tables and solutions to store your data, and model-driven apps to display, add, edit and search
Created by Philip Burton | 2.5 hours on-demand video course
This course goes through all of the skills required for the “Microsoft Applied Skills: Create and manage model-driven apps with Power Apps and Dataverse” assessment. This can also help with PL-100 Microsoft Power Platform App Maker exam, with “Create and manage model-driven apps”. It can also help with “Configure model-driven apps”, “Create and configure forms” and “Create and configure views” for the MB-210, MB-220, MB-230 and MB-240 exams.
In this 2½ hour course we’ll cover the skills that you need for the Microsoft Applied Skills credential for model-driven Power Apps.
The tasks that you need to perform to get this skill are:
- Modify a Dataverse solution. A solution is able to contain tables, which includes data, forms, views and choices.
- Create and configure Dataverse tables. Tables allow for data to be stored in rows and columns. You can assign data types to constrain the data. It can also include choices to constrain the data further. You can also add lookups to connect tables together.
- Modify Dataverse forms. These are used to view single rows, and allow you to edit, delete or add new data.
- Modify Dataverse views. These are used to view multiple rows, and allow you to click on rows to edit them in a form.
- Configure a model-driven app. These bring together forms and views, which are attached to forms, into one app.
- We’ll go through several practical examples, so you can see how you can create your own model-driven apps.
By the end of the Microsoft Applied Skills:Model-driven Power Apps & Dataverse course, you’ll be much more confident about creating and managing model-driven Power Apps and Dataverse tables, and perhaps even take the official Microsoft assessment. That would look great on your CV or resume.
